Chatting with Ben Rhodes… “Our mile-and-a-half program has been our strongpoint this season, so I definitely think we can get a win. The challenge is going to be once again with the new surface and making sure we qualify up front for track position. Texas Motor Speedway is a very fast racetrack with a lot of grip, and we’ve performed quite well at tracks that have a lot of grip.”

Chatting with Cody Coughlin… “I’ve liked Texas (Motor Speedway) since the first time I raced there, because we always seem to run pretty well there. Now that they’ve repaved it, and reconfigured the track a bit, it definitely has a whole new set of challenges, but I still really enjoy that track.”

Chatting with Matt Crafton… What are the keys to running well at Texas Motor Speedway? “Having a truck you can run around on the bottom – the new asphalt will offer a lot of grip. Hopefully, the second groove will start rubbering-up, and we’ll be able to run side-by-side, like you used to be able to do at Texas before they repaved it. We’ve only been on it once, and it was kind of an unknown – it will be an unknown this week too because it will be a lot cooler this time than when we were there earlier this season.

Chatting with Matt Crafton… Who do you think your biggest competition is in the Round of 6? “Racing for championships in the Truck Series, and even back in the Southwest Tour, and late models, you go out there and take care of yourself. Race your own race, and see how the cards fall at that point. I know I say it all the time, but I truly believe it, if it’s meant to be, it will happen.”

Chatting with Grant Enfinger… How demanding is Martinsville Speedway on both driver and equipment? “Martinsville is very demanding on everything. It’s a place where it’s easy to overdrive the corner and for the most part we only have one groove, so everyone is fighting for that. This is also the track where we see the most brake issues and bent body panels.”

Chatting with Ben Rhodes… “We just need an overall good, solid run at Martinsville on Saturday. We need to finish in the top-five – a win would be nice to guarantee our spot in the Final Four at Homestead, but it’s not necessary in this round – I think we can still play it safe, and get in on points. Right now we’re in fifth-place, only two points behind third, so I know we can easily make up that margin.

Chatting with Cody Coughlin… “We had a really good run going at Martinsville in the spring, until the last lap of the race. I’m looking forward to this weekend, and hopefully having another good run, especially with our pink Toyota Tundra that we’re running for breast cancer awareness. This is a very emotional month for me and my family, and many families, so hopefully we can have a good run for that reason as well.”

Chatting with Grant Enfinger… You are the defending race winner at Talladega. What did it mean for you to get your first NASCAR win at your home track? “It was a huge win for us last year at Talladega. First truck win, and at my home track, with a lot of friends and family there – making it extra special.”

Chatting with Ben Rhodes… Has it sunk in yet that you are a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series winner? What does this feat mean to you, especially given the challenges you’ve faced this season?

Chatting with Cody Coughlin… “I love racing at the Superspeedways. It’s fun to be bunched up the whole time and to be able to really use the air, and draft, and try to get runs. It’s so intense. It’s like high-intensity freeway driving. I’m really looking forward to the race on Saturday.”
